Dunkirk

Written, directed, and produced by Christopher Nolan, this war film has achieved tremendous success with audiences and critics, managing to convince despite the unusually short duration. It tells the true story of the evacuation of a group of British soldiers from Dunkirk, besieged by German enemies. The film divides into three main narrative and temporal lines, which roughly correspond to air, land, and water. The film then tells the before, during, and after the miraculous landing, from completely different points of view.

The curiosity towards the film was, from the first official announcement, corroborated by the great commitment of the director, who had been working on the project for decades. Also in the rich cast, which includes Fionn Whitehead; Tom Glynn-Carney; Jack Lowden; Kenneth Branagh; Cillian Murphy, and Tom Hardy is also included Harry Styles, a former member of One Direction at his first acting test, which he passed brilliantly. The film earned three technical Oscars out of eight total nominations.

Despite her confidence, Christine did not believe that even being was psychologically unstable. Her struggle, however, stops at nothing.

Screenwriter J. Michael Straczynski worked for years on the drafting of the film, which was then finally appreciated by Clint Eastwood, who also composed the music as well as being behind the camera. The cast sees Angelina Jolie in the role of the protagonist, flanked by an always amazing John Malkovich. Together with them also Riki Lindhome, Michael Kelly, Amy Ryan, and Geoff Pierson.
