The story is about a crime thriller. An influential man named Sundar (played by Jeeva Ravi) searches for his lost son and starts a series of events. The film is written, directed, edited and produced by debutant Venkateshwaraj, who builds an air of mystery and moves the story with some confidence. Loss, grief and retribution, deception and disguise, misuse of technology leading to severe consequences all these elements are present in this picture.

This hyperlinked crime drama has various tracks. In addition to Sundar, there’s his friend Kalidas (Gajaraj), a lawyer whose daughter Nitya remains comatose. And then there’s investigating officer Inba (Vinod GD), who carries his own set of personal problems on his shoulders. How do these people connect with each other?

The screenplay is quite engaging, with enough red herrings thrown around by the director to keep viewers guessing till the end credits start rolling. However, the first half drags a bit and lacks pace, things pick up only after interval when the back story unfolds and pieces come together towards climax where certain characters like Inba come clean on their intentions giving warm finish to the saga.

The narrative jumps back and forth in time revisiting past event that gives it fresh perspective every time. But sometimes this tool for shocking viewer seems overdone or unnecessary. A bunch of talented young technicians have done great job in supporting director’s vision here.

Gajaraj gets one best roles he ever had as Kalidas while playing opposite role against typecast image which he usually plays so well within Tamil films industry. His efficiency alone carries most weight in terms narrating story through acting abilities shown during movie runtime itself, however other actors such Vinod GD, Jeeva Ravi etc also fit their respective roles nicely along with Sanu playing assistant to Kalidas & Fouzie, Harshita playing victims of dirty act. A special mention must be made for Ananth Nag who is like X factor this plot where his character becomes crucial turning point in the entire story.

Being promising work from new director, this film can only be watched once especially if one loves crime-thriller genre but it’s worth every second spent watching (119 minutes).
