Hema Films, a movie production company situated in Tokyo, has dropped the official trailer of Indian-born filmmaker Hemant Singh’s first feature-length film “Wasabi not a fairy tale.”
“Wasabi not a fairy tale” is about Kano (played by Julian Koike), the protagonist who is bullied because of a scar on her face. But her life changes completely after she discovers her hidden talents her astonishing intellect and potential that were left untapped. Be prepared for some twists you never saw coming along Kano’s path.
The flick shows raw realities faced by victims of bullying, and it does not gloss over or avoid depicting how such behavior can affect one’s mental health profoundly. It shows that being bullied may become an event that remains in memory as traumatic even if it seems unrelated or disconnected from other occurrences. The narrative demonstrates also what vulnerability means for people who have experienced any form of bullying; their thoughts are shaped by this experience hence leading them into destructive actions which may harm not only themselves but also those around them.
What this movie ultimately does is deeply explore kindness, compassion, and forgiveness. “Wasabi not a fairy tale” vividly reveals how strong hate can be towards someone else while at the same time showing us that every individual has capacity to love another person too. In our world full with these two extremes it becomes necessary sometimes to act kindly even when we least feel like doing so because you never know what impact your small acts might have on others who may come across them.
The film highlights how much hate affects people’s lives which underscores its existence within each person. Each individual can either love or hate depending on their mood thus stressing need for kindness among all human beings regardless of age, race or social status.
