“Viva Films is a Philippine film production company established under Viva Communications. It was founded on November 11, 1981 by Vic del Rosario Jr.
Moving away from the Sharon Cuneta-Gabby Concepcion tandem. The “glossy” production of films such as Sinasamba Kita, Palimos ng Pag-ibig; Saan Darating Ang Umaga?; Kung Mahawi Man Ang Ulap, and Paano Ba Ang Mangarap? won critical and commercial acclaims… Also in 1985 Viva Films made a documentary film about the visit of Puerto Rican boyband Menudo to the Philippines,
The action star status of then supporting actor Phillip Salvador was launched by Viva in Boy Negro. It also introduced Robin Padilla (Bad Boy) and Raymart Santiago (Noel Juico: Batang Kriminal) as new action stars… Eddie Garcia also made movies for Viva… Rudy Fernandez also made movies for Viva… Bong Revilla Jr. also made movies for Viva… Fernando Poe Jr. also made movies for Viva.
Viva later became known as a home for quality youth-oriented films. Bagets was the breakthrough flick in 1984, top billed by William Martinez and launched the careers of then unknowns J.C. Bonnin, Herbert Bautista, Raymond Lauchengco and Aga Muhlach.
Eventually, with Ramon Christopher joining the original cast, a sequel was produced called Bagets 2. The success of the two Bagets film made it the flagship movie of VIVA films & it set the trend for youth oriented movies in the 80’s which other film companies copied, but they never matched nor equaled the success brought about by hehe two Bagets films.

However, a studio or a distributor can exceed this time limit once a year if it is deemed necessary for one specific movie.

The trailer may be created at agencies like The Cimarron Group, MOJO, The Ant Farm, Ben Cain, Aspect Ratio, Flyer Entertainment, Trailer Park and Buddha Jones while still cutting the film at the studio itself.
Because there is no edited film at this point (yet), trailer editors work from rushes or dailies. Therefore it might have footage that’s not in the final movie or trailer editor and film editor use different takes of one shot. Another technique commonly used is to include music on the trailer that does not appear on movie’s soundtrack.
This is almost always a requirement as trailers and teasers are made long before composer has been hired for score — sometimes even year ahead of release date — whereas composers usually come on board as last creatives
Trailers tell film story highly condensed way so they have maximum appeal. Since marketing movies became big business decades ago now trailers have become high-end pieces of advertising able to present poor films even more attractively.
The main goal here is to tell an interesting story which will get audiences emotionally involved with it.
Most trailers follow three act structure similar to feature-length movie: they start with beginning (act 1) that lays out premise for story; middle (act 2) drives further into narrative before ending with dramatic climax;
Act 3 usually features strong piece of “signature music” (either recognizable song or powerful sweeping orchestral piece). This last act often consists of visual montage showing powerful emotional moments from film and may also contain a cast run if there are any big names attached which could help sell the movie.”
