‘Namo’ is an unexplored area in the hidden forest where two best friends Nagesh (Viswant) and Mohan (Anuroop) take an adventurous bike ride. Nagesh is a leader who was well respected but suddenly disappeared into the wild, hence his purpose of going there is to look for his father who has been missing. Their journey takes a different direction when they come across a mysterious tribe living in the forest which completely changes everything about their mission. It mixes funny parts with emotional depth so that it can show how these boys go through hard times while seeking for answers deep down inside rich green nature.
Performances:
Viswant Dudumpudi plays Nagesh’s role amazingly bringing out excellent timing skills as well as giving much feeling, especially during one of the most touching scenes before the climax. Anuroop Katari acts as Mohan brilliantly by blending quick comic sense alongside mature acting abilities. Vismayasri, on the other hand, does justice to her character Ganga who is an ambitious tribal girl thus adding more strength and determination within herself thereby balancing friendship between two buddies. Supporting cast members such as Meka Ramakrishna, Vadlamani Srinivas & Virender Chauhan also performed greatly which contributed greatly towards making the storyline better.
Technicalities
Kranthi Acharya Vadluri’s music plus background score work perfectly well in creating an atmosphere around various situations that occur within this film while at same time capturing locations used during shooting like forests thus enhancing its narrative aspect. Director of Photography Rahul Shrivatsav’s lenses wonderfully showcase natural beauty found in jungles thereby providing the audience with eye-catching visuals so they can fully immerse themselves into a wild environment. Production values were okay thanks to Sri Nethra Creations and Aarms Film Factory but better cutting could have been done here, especially by Sanal Anirudhan.
Analysis
‘Namo’ directed by Aditya Reddy Kunduru brings freshness into adventure comedy movies. It does not follow the usual trend where most films lose track halfway through but maintains a steady pace till end thus making people laugh and cry at same time. The storyline moves very fast so that core bits are seen early enough making viewers to be part and parcel of the heroes’ self-realization journey as well as friendship growth. This is a touching story about Nagesh and Mohan’s bond which warms hearts while entertaining them too since there were both funny moments along with those that provoke deep thoughts.
‘Namo’ is therefore a fun-filled flick filled with funny scenes and heart-stopping action. It boasts strong performances from lead actors who manage to keep their audience connected throughout the entire movie coupled up by breathtaking views of different places used during filming which in turn make it more interesting for people watching especially when such pictures are displayed on big screens. Aditya Reddy Kunduru should be commended for coming up with such an intriguing tale that leaves one yearning for more even after credits have rolled down hence this being considered as another successful attempt within the adventure comedies genre
