American art’s three-generation dynasty heir Jamie Wyeth attempts to find his own voice during the loud chaos of pop culture and politics from the 1960s till the present day. This artist’s first full-length feature documentary illustrates his way while capturing such iconic figures as John F.Kennedy, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Andy Warhol, or Rudolf Nureyev along with unique sometimes disturbing views on domesticity life, islands of Maine, or personal ghosts haunting him.

The release of this movie coincides with a multi-city exhibition showing works by Wethys around America; previously Andrew Wether was featured in an hour-long program broadcasted on PBS’ American Masters directed by Glenn Holsten who now has signed an agreement between producer Chayne Gregg representing herself as well as film company Juno Films represented by its CEO Vondah Elizabeth Sheldon.

Elizabeth Sheldon said “Jamie Wyeth and The Unflinching Eye” is a unique portrait that takes living subject matter into consideration when analyzing complexities surrounding an artist’s creative process which makes it different from other documentaries about artists; thus some people may only watch this biopic because they are fans of Jamie but for those unfamiliar with what he has done before watching this biography becomes a necessary step towards getting acquainted with his oeuvre”.

“Our documentary has been acquired by Juno Films”, mentioned Mr.Holsten who then added. “We are grateful towards Vondah Elizabeth for her help in bringing our work closer to viewers whose appreciation depth shall increase once they see more than just surface level understanding reflected through various aspects such as style or technique used by Jamie Wyeth while creating his paintings”.

Juno Films’ most recent releases include Lasse Hallstrom’s Hilma and the Gaelic comedy Roise & Frank, The Most Beautiful Boy in the World, and What She Said: The Art of Pauline Kael.
