Movie Review
Of course, this film could be seen as the story of the artist Einar Wegener, who became the first person to have a sex change surgically. But let’s face it, it’s not just Eddie Redmayne who plays first fiddle in the film, stunningly reincarnated as Lily Elbe, but also Alicia Vikander who embodies the image of Gerda Wegener and won an Oscar for it. How does it feel to know that your husband now feels like a woman, how do you understand and accept this fact? And how to love the new man? Is it even possible?
