Bunker: Project 12
Craig and Derek have defeated their own clones. Then Craig stays with Tracy’s clone, leaving the real Tracy alone in the cabin.
The movie starts with a married couple living in an isolated cabin. During a thunderstorm, lightning strikes the cabin’s septic system and two waste-clones of the married couple crawl out of it. The clones kill them immediately.
Some time later, Craig (Alexander Nifong), Tracy (Stella Maeve), and their friend Derek (J. Mallory McCree) go camping in nearby woods as another storm rolls through. There is a lot of tension between college-bound Tracy and her meek boyfriend Craig, so they break into the cabin during the downpour so all three can use the bathroom (thus depositing their DNA into the septic system).
The trio are quickly chased by the murderous clones until they’re saved by their own clones emerging from the septic tank. Their clones then start trying to bond with them. The clones are stronger than them, remember everything they do, and have opposite personalities (i.e., confident Craig, confident Derek, emotional Tracy). Derek leaves right away but Craig and Tracy decide to stay to get to know more about them.
Among other things, we learn that Derek has been stealing cash from Craig’s father’s business and that Tracy had a fling in college and was going to break up with Craig on this trip: The original Craig becomes very suspicious of his friends when he hears these revelations. They also find out that it used to be owned by a scientist when they find his secret laboratory: The original Tracy and Craig find it.
Craig sleeps with the Tracy clone (and loves it); meanwhile, Tracy sleeps with the Craig clone (and hates it).
It quickly becomes clear that they view themselves as superior physical specimens who will eventually have to kill their less powerful originals: Original Craig is confided in by Clone Tracy that she loves him. Original-Derek and original-Tracy decide to go explore the secret lab after they are joined by him again, having returned to help his friends: They eventually find out that the scientist was doing illegal cloning experiments before one of his own clones killed him. People leaking chemicals were being cloned in the septic tank (which was hit with electricity during a storm thus initiating the cloning process). The clones come across the lab and try to burn them alive inside it against clone Tracy’s wishes: The originals escape through a hidden passage and go back into the cabin.
The initial people figured out that the clones would end up replacing them if they do not stop. So they decide to go on a final move which is killing their copies. They create a code word “Marco” (like Marco Polo) to differentiate between each other. Each original fights his clone alone (and separated from another). After Derek kisses his clone, he is able to kill him, rushes off and helps Craig kill his clone after establishing which Craig is the real one using the code word. The two of them run down to the beach where Tracy is standing alone. Derek asks her for the code word but before she can answer, Craig kisses her and says this Tracy is the original. The three of them hug and walk away together.
Later on we observe that these three friends are closer than ever before and also that there is a new passionate relationship between Tracy and Craig. Craig receives a call and hears Tracy’s voice on the other line. This Tracy is somehow trapped in the cabin. She cries and repeats over and over again “Marco” as she begs Craig to come get her (revealing that she is the original Tracy). Just then Craig hangs up the phone goes to make out with clone Tracy as credits roll by.
