All About The Benjamins is about a Miami bounty hunter who, while chasing a suspect, finds himself in the middle of a $20 million diamond heist. Now he needs help from the last person he’d expect, to find the $20 million before the Miami PD does.
Basically a rated R, African American odd couple! A bounty hunter and the suspect he was chasing fight crime together! Not the most common thing!
This movie was both hilarious and action packed! There were some very amazing action scenes throughout the movie. I came only expecting humor, but this gave more.
BUT at times the comedy was stupid, and the violence was lurid. One other thing I will say, is that I don’t like how this movie presented Miami. I happen to live there and was insulted at how it was exhibited. AND I will only say this once. RAPPERS CAN’T ACT!!! KEEP THEM OFF THE MOVIE SCREEN!
In conclusion,
All About the Benjamins is has plenty of upside! Its funny, its action packed, and its pretty original. Overall, I liked it and am sure many others felt the same. That is if you don’t mind the profanity or violence, which was a bit of an overkill!
