The Royal Tenenbaums is about Royal Tenenbaum, a father who never cared a bit about his family. One day, out of the blue, he decides that he wants to be a part of their lives. None of his children, nor his wife, are interested in his sudden appearance; so he tells them that he is dyeing. All of the children are back at the house for one reason or another (you’ll have to see it to find out!) and they reluctantly let him come home. This is basically a story of a man seeking forgiveness from his family for years of absents.
The Royal Tenenbaums is unlike anything else you’ll ever see. It’s funny, its deep, its a great story, and it has a VERY good cast. Some of the humor in this movie is so quirky and bizarre that you’ll wonder if it was supposed to be funny!
Gene Hackman has gotten outstanding reviews for this movie and he really does deserve it! I don’t like A LOT of the movies he’s in! But when he hits the nail on the head he hits it hard! See this movie! You won’t regret it, it’ll make you think, it’ll make you smile, it’ll make you sad, and it’ll make you laugh a lot!
Movies like this don’t come around often this isn’t a normal movie! Normal movies aren’t this good!
