Slackers is about 3 guys who cheat and lie their ways through college. When someone catches them, he blackmail the three of them. They must get Angela, the object of his desire, to go out on a date with him. But when one of the three falls in love with Angela, they have to find another way to keep themselves in school.
This movie was good. It wasn’t great, but it wasn’t bad. Its obviously the kind of movie that some people will love, some will despise, and others will write their congressmen about.
Its the kind of comedy that some days you’re just in the mood for! You’ve just seen a sad, melodramatic movie and all you want to do is laugh, whether the joke was funny or otherwise. It wasn’t as funny as other movies in this genre (American Pie) where you could laugh at everything. All this stuff wasn’t funny. Some of it was incredibly stupid.
In conclusion,
if you’re looking for a quick light hearted movie. Slackers could be for you. If you’re looking for a good Oscar caliber movie go see I Am Sam!
