Sorority Boys is about three guys who join a sorority after they get kicked out of their frat house. They must find a tape to prove that they didn’t steal the money for the K.O.K.tail Cruise.
Most comedies like this one, are stupid. But this one might actually have some intellectual weight. Look past the main plot (3 fraternity guys joining a sorority) the heart of the movie is that everyone deserves a chance no matter how hideous, gigantic, or hairy you are.
I should also say that it was funny. It was little things that I found funny. The name of the fraternity, K.O.K, the sorority where all the “reject” girls go, D.O.G., and little things like that really made this movie stick out.
This is the kind of movie where you will laugh out loud, and do it a lot. Of coarse there was the common stupid joke or stupid plot twist (the whole thing with the two brother was a little dumb!) but that’s to be expected. Its exactly what I wanted when I went to the theatre, and more. But you have to remember, it wasn’t aimed at old people, or small children. Its aimed at young audiences, and you have to remember that.
In conclusion
if you’re between the ages of 14 to19, and you want to see a funny, but not stupid movie look no further! Sorority Boys should please your appetite.
