Blade 2 is about a part human, part vampire, whose enemy is the vampires. But when a new breed of terror is created he must work with the vampires in order to defeat this new and greater evil. (I feel stupid every time I try to explain a movie like this!) B.T.W. Its based on a Marvel comic strip, and this is the sequel to Blade.
As you know, I’m not a huge fan of sci-fi movies like this one. But surprisingly, I liked this movie. The special effects were AMAZING. But they were a bit too much, in two ways. 1) Some of them looked too much like special effects and not enough like real live acting. At one point I was positive that Wesley Snipes had been replaced by computer graphics. I understand that they needed to do this, but they could of at least made it look real. 2) There were too many special effects, not enough good plot, dialogue or acting. Also, the make up and costumes were amazing as well.
I happen to think that Wesley Snipes is a terrible actor. He had about 10 lines to know even though he was the main character, and he still came out as a bad actor.
In conclusion
Blade 2 was surprisingly good in my eyes. If you like these kinds of bloody-gory sci-fi adventures, this one is right up your alley!
