At the hair salon of Linda’s aunt, Vina has just had her hair done. It is her best friend Linda. And then after they go to see a street show where Marlyana should have come and taken her home. But unfortunately, Marlyana’s bicycle broke down; so both Linda and Vina decide to ride ojeks home instead. However, they choose to ride with Deden alongside his friend by name Zaki who was also there at the show. Thus Zaki decides to drop off Vina at their place.
After dropping a parcel, Vina and Zaki continue their way to home. As neither of them knows, a group of riders follows them until they reach an overpass and begin assaulting them.
The following day, lifeless bodies are discovered on the side of the road, thus the police say that it was a case of hit-and-run accident.
Somehow my grandmother can’t admit that Vina is not alive anymore and she notices strange cuts on Vina’s body with her hand broken which are not characteristic for car accidents at all. Linda did not even attend that funeral because she felt guilty as she thought she could have insisted on riding with Deden back home.
On the third day after burying him/her, Linda gets possessed by Vina’s spirit which insists that she will only speak to his family members before departing from her body. Her relatives arrive and listen as Vina tells them about what happened to her in details resulting in the deaths of Buna and Ugha. With Dani being a horror story enthusiast as well as a reporter within his own right, he records while Marlyana gets video footage directly from fans of this genre for later uploading on his Youtube channel
This recording makes Doomriders hide away.Egy who led in torturing Vina is the son of senior policeman orders his friends into hiding together with him when father sends him away. It doesn’t matter where Vina’s spirit is; she will always find her.
The police asks for an exhumation of Vina’s body to perform a post mortem. Once they have all the proofs, the police begin to attack it. Nine out of twelve were caught while the remaining three including Egy are still at large.
My Impression
Plot: 4.8/ 5.0 Judging from what I read online about this case, this movie seems like it has been as real as possible to depict the true story of Vina.
In some instances, I closed my eyes because some parts were too graphic and real that it scared me so much and I prayed there would be no more Vinaxxxx and that they will catch all these guys soonest.
