Top 5 Movies of Irrfan Khan

  1. Paan Singh Tomar

Paan Singh Tomar is based on the life of an athlete who was also in the Indian Army and even won a gold medal. But due to some circumstances, he was forced to become a rebel and fight against the system. This movie is about the transformation and struggles that he had to face despite being a respectable athlete and a retired soldier. Paan Singh Tomar released in 2012, is still so captivating and entertaining. The director of Paan Singh Tomar is Tigmanshu Dhulia. You should watch this movie if you are a hardcore fan of Irrfan Khan.

  1. Piku

Irrfan had less screen time in this movie. But Irrfan Khan was the best part of the movie for me. His character was modern and a breath of fresh air.

Piku is a movie about the relationship between a daughter and her aging father. Piku is a quirky comedy. If you are a Bollywood fan, then you must watch this movie. It will surely not disappoint you.

Deepika Padukone is fabulous as Piku, while Amitabh Bachchan nailed the role of an aging father. But what makes this movie magic for me is definitely Irrfan Khan. The music and background score of this movie is also excellent.

  1. Hindi Medium

Hindi Medium was a stepping stone for Irrfan Khan’s career. He was popular but this movie commercialized him even more. Hindi Medium is a movie about a couple who struggle to get their daughter admitted to a prestigious English medium school. This movie also points out the corruption and not-so-fair school admission system. This movie will be an eye-opener for you.

Irrfan Khan perfectly portrayed the role of a loving father who can do anything for her daughter. Saba Qamar and Deepak Dobriyal were also excellent. The songs of this movie are fresh and it is a great weekend movie that you can watch with your family.

  1. The Lunchbox

The Lunchbox is quite an unusual movie. It is the best movie by Irrfan Khan according to Putlocker. What makes this movie so special?

The plot is quite interesting. Ila wants to rekindle the romance with her husband. Ila is a great cook and wants to send delicious food to her husband but due to an unlikely mistake by the tiffin service company the lunchbox gets delivered to a stranger, named Saajan Fernandes. Friendship soon develops between the two.

Lunchbox received many awards and is the highest-grossing movie of Irrfan Khan. Both Irrfan Khan and Nimrat Kaur nailed their performances. The movie is very close to my heart and if you haven’t watched it yet, you are missing something. You can watch this movie on Netflix.

  1. Qarib Qarib Single

Qarib Qarib Single is an underrated movie. Due to less marketing or unusual plot, the movie was not well received. But I can assure you, this movie is worth watching and will hit you in a lot of different ways.

Irrfan Khan is the soul of this movie. Vyogi is the character that he portrayed. Vyogi is a weird guy, a boomer, and knows how to live life. He meets Jaya through a dating app. Jaya is played by Parvathy, Jaya and Vyogi are polar opposites. Their relationship is the best part of this movie. You can watch this movie on Netflix. Also, Recommend this movie to your friends so that they know what they are missing.
