Movie review
A former music teacher, hilarious and imaginative Winfried decides to cheer up his daughter, a successful business consultant for a prestigious German corporation in Romania, who, in his opinion, has become too serious. To get her attention, he poses alternately as the German Ambassador and the eccentric business trainer Tony Erdmann. With his funny and unexpected antics, he hopes to change her view of life and win a place in her heart. The German-Austrian film by Maren Ade was awarded the FIPRESS Prize at this year’s Cannes Film Festival.
