No Country for Old Men
Written and directed by the Coen brothers, the film that we have decided to include in the list of Netflix recommended films is based on the novel of the same name by Cormac McCarthy. The story revolves around the discovery of a mysterious briefcase by a veteran, Llewellyn Moss. The owner of the money, Anton Chigurh, has no qualms about recovering it, killing anyone who goes against him. Set in Mexico in the 1980s, the film also offers a testimony to the violent fights between criminal gangs.
Among the many peculiarities of this incredible film, there is also the absence of a soundtrack, excluding the credits. The cast also stars Javier Bardem out of the ordinary, who initially had reservations regarding the role. Tommy Lee Jones, Josh Brolin, Woody Harrelson, Kelly Macdonald, Stephen Root, and Beth Grant also appear on the screen. Four Academy Awards won out of a total of eight nominations.
One of the best Italian films of recent times. This movie is based on the novel by Carlo Bonini and Giancarlo De Cataldo same name. A sequel to what is the series, also of the same name, distributed exclusively by Netflix, tells the story of different characters, of different ages and social backgrounds, involved in the shady illegal tours of Rome, in particular in the Ostia district. Prostitution, intrigue, violence, theft, murder, and threats are the order of the day, a mix of which political corruption and drug use are also part.
The cast, definitely noteworthy, sees the participation of actors of the caliber of Pierfrancesco Favino, Claudio Amendola, Alessandro Borghi, Elio Germano, Greta Scarano, and Antonello Fazzari. In addition to Borghi, Giacomo Ferrara and Adamo Dionisi also resume their role in the TV series. The soundtrack is based on several songs by the M83 group, in particular Outro and Midnight City. Six nominations for David di Donatello and seven for Nastri d’Argento. Without a doubt, a movie recommended on Netflix.

In the words of one of the producers, the film is about breaking down prejudices and putting music and love first.
