Practical Magic (1998)

Movie Review

A combination of mysticism, comedy and melodrama, Practical Magic combines several genres. Two sisters who live with their aunts have magical powers. According to the laws of the genre, no one naturally likes them in the town and tries to avoid them. The story is as old as the world. Sorcery, Magic…. But the movie is not about magic. It is about solving difficult situations, about grief of a girl who lost her beloved, about fears, and the main thing, about what a woman’s mutual help and support is.
