Nick Fury a super spy appearing in Marvel comics, Movies and video games. The character was created by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby.
Nick Fury made his comics debut as the commander of an elite military squad on the front of World War II. However, the character has been transformed into a James Bond style super spy who heads the SHIELD intelligence agency and acts as a buffer between the US government and various superheroes. His hallmarks are an eye patch and a cigar. In the Ultimate comic book line, a black version of the character inspired by the actor Samuel L. Jackson (even before the same role as the protagonist) made its debut.
In the MCU (Marvel Cinematic Universe), the character is portrayed by Samuel L. Jackson, who made his debut in this role in a scene after the credits of Iron Man (2008). Then appeared, among others in the movies Avengers (2012),” Captain America The Winter Soldier (2014), Avengers Age of Ultron (2015) and Captain Marvel (2019). Fury also appears in many video games, including Lego Marvel Super Heroes 2 (2017) etc.
