Malekith – leader of the Dark Elves of Svartalfheim, Thor‘s opponent. He appears in Marvel comic books, movies and video games. In the MCU (Marvel Cinematic Universe), he wants to find Ether to plunge the universe into darkness. He appears in the film “Thor: The Dark World” (2013) where he is played by Christopher Eccleston.
