Inspired by mythology, Asgardian prince, god of lies and mischief, one of the most important villains of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and one of the most-appearing characters in the comic book series devoted to Thor, The role of loki is played by Tom Hiddleston.
Loki causes the Ice Giants to attack Asgard. Although Thor follows them without his father’s consent (because the opportunity to fight is perfect), Loki is actually responsible for banishing his stepbrother. Subsequent intrigues, repeatedly provoked by Loki, lead the Avengers to fight against the Chitauri during the Battle of New York.
Unlike Thor he is much less impulsive most often it works by manipulation and cool calculation. He had to develop these types of traits, being physically weaker than the Asghardians. As the action of the next films unfolds, Loki becomes more and more cruel in pursuit of his goal. Perhaps he really believes that he was destined for the glorious goal of ruling Earth and Asgard, but at the same time he proves that he wants to be accepted by Odin and considered equal to Thor. He is killed by Thanos on a ship transporting refugees from Asgard after a fight with Hela.
