Movie Review
Director Pedro Almodovar calls his film “the most restrained” in his film career: there is no humor, many close-ups and simple expressive means are used. The film tells the story of Juliet whose daughter mysteriously disappears. In an attempt to find her traces, the woman recalls her turbulent youth, her love and the terrible tragedy that drove her away from her daughter.
