“Fast and Furious 11” is to be the grand finale of one of Universal’s most profitable series. So you might think that the label wouldn’t skimp on it. However, new reports say something completely different!

Less of everything. “Fast and Furious 11” returns to its roots

Jeff Sneider, a specialist in Hollywood leaks, recently shared revelations about the eleventh part of the “Fast and Furious” series. His sources claim that Universal decided to drastically cut the budget of the last part. The film will cost well under $200 million.

This is a truly gigantic cost reduction compared to the budget of “Fast and Furious 10”. Over $340 million was spent on this spectacle, which, however, did not translate into box office success. The film grossed $714 million worldwide. This is only half of the global cinema revenues of “Fast and Furious 7” ($1,512 million). The film sold even worse than the spin-off “Hobbs and Shaw” ($760 million).

The reduced budget means there will no longer be spectacular action in exotic locations around the world. Sneider says the series finale is meant to be a return to the roots. Everything has to be simplified. The plot will focus on one jump or race.

Sneider also reports that despite recent reports of sexual violence, Vin Diesel is back in the cast and will reprise his role as Dominic Toretto.
