Movie review
To say that only Potteromancers – fans of Jk Rowling’s work – are waiting for this film would be untrue. “Fantastic Beasts and Where They Live” is also on the must watch list of those who follow the work of talented actor Eddie Redmayne. The film is essentially a spin-off of the Harry Potter story, but takes place long before the events that Rowling described in her seven books about the boy-who-survived. The film follows the adventures of writer Newt Scamander (played by Redmayne) in New York’s secret society of wizards. It is about his life that the textbook that Harry and his friends read at Hogwarts would later be written about. And, by the way, “Fantastic Beasts and Where to find them” was the debut for Rowling, it was the film she worked on as a screenwriter. And it was directed by Davy Yates, who directed the last four Harry Potter films.
