Movie Review
American family who one day gathers under one roof. The main character, Violet, is a woman with a high temper. To ease the pain of her affliction, she takes drugs, which makes her temper “in all its glory” come down on her husband, her three daughters, and in general on all members of the family. The film, with a terrific cast – Meryl Streep, Julia Roberts, Benedict Cumberbatch, Ewan McGregor – was based on a play by Tracy Letts.
