A young monk spends a long time in meditation. He is returned to his native monastery and awarded a high title. It seems to be a success in learning and studying Buddhism, but for the protagonist, it does not suit him. He is tired of following the letter of the scriptures and decides to change the life of a monk for a life in the world.
