The main message of the film is the phrase that any person’s life, the history of his development is like the history of the universe. All of Wes Anderson’s films are made in a wayward, ironic style, so if you like one, watch them all. The plot of the film revolves around the story of an orphan boy scout who escapes from camp to go on a journey with his first love, Susie. The full Scouts, the girl’s parents and the sheriff are sent out in search of the runaways. It would seem that the young lovers have no chance, but they have carefully prepared for this trek and will stop at nothing to carry out the plan.
Beasts of the Southern Wild 2012
A unique film that gives you a whole new outlook on things. The film tells the story of a 6-year-old girl who lives with her drinking father in a slum on a small island off the coast of Louisiana. The inhabitants of the island live a simple life. They collect construction debris, plastic and car remains to build their houses. The protagonist, six-year-old Hushpuppy, tries her best to take care of her drinking father and keeps dreaming that her mother will come back one day.
The story is about a fourteen-year-old boy, Ellis, and Goat paw, a forty-year-old weakling who lives next door to Ellis and his mother and does all the dirty work in exchange for food and a roof over his head for himself and his goats. In his spare time, the goat-herder dedicates his time to growing and consuming marijuana. Ellis is his only friend. With the Goat-herder, the boy is willing to share even the cold night treks across the desert in search of new pastures. The idyll ends when it’s time for Ellis to go to school on the other side of the country, at a school his absent father is paying for.
14-year-old Felix dreams of becoming a saxophonist like his late father but his mother thinks jazz is the devil’s music. When Felix leaves town to attend an elite public school, he defies his mother and contacts members of his father’s band to prepare for a school jazz concert.
